Nanoleaf Setup
This guide will help you set up F1MV-Lights-Integration with your Nanoleaf devices.
Requirements
- 1 or more Nanoleaf devices
Setup
- Ensure that you have installed F1MV-Lights-Integration. If not, please refer to the installation page.
- Start F1MV-Lights-Integration and click the "Settings" button in the top right corner of the window.
- Scroll down to the "Nanoleaf Settings" section and ensure that the "Disable Nanoleaf integration" option is unchecked.

- Click the "Add a Nanoleaf Device" button, as shown in the image below.

- A new window will open, prompting you to enter the IP address or hostname of your Nanoleaf device.
- After you have filled in the Nanoleaf IP address or hostname, press and hold the power button on the Nanoleaf for 5-7 seconds until the LED starts flashing in a pattern.
- Within 20 seconds of the LED flashing, press the "Link Nanoleaf" button.

After pressing the button, a message should appear in the "Nanoleaf Connection Log".

If you see a message saying "Error: Could not connect to the Nanoleaf device, please try again.", this means that F1MV-Lights-Integration was unable to connect to your Nanoleaf device. Ensure that your Nanoleaf device is connected to your network and try again.
If you see a message saying "Successfully connected to the Nanoleaf device!", this means that F1MV-Lights-Integration has successfully connected to your Nanoleaf device.
When the Nanoleaf device blinks, the connection is successful. If the device does not blink, please try connecting again.
You will be prompted to confirm if the connection was successful. Click "Yes" if it was and "No" if it wasn't.
If you clicked "Yes", you will be asked if you wish to add another Nanoleaf device. Click "Yes" if you want to add another device, and "No" if you do not.
If you clicked "Yes", repeat the steps above for each additional Nanoleaf device you want to add.
If you clicked "No", the Nanoleaf setup window will close in a few seconds and you can proceed to the next step.
On the settings page, you should see a list of all your Nanoleaf devices and their IP addresses.
Click "Home" in the top right corner of the window to return to the main window.
You can now use the simulation buttons to test your lights.
